Traps alone don't work if the entry points stay open — our Cedarville, OH crew seals the building envelope while removing what's already inside. Rodents also gnaw on electrical wiring, which turns a nuisance problem into a genuine fire-safety concern if it goes unaddressed.
Rodent control here means construction-grade exclusion: hardware cloth, sealant, and door sweeps, applied by trained techs.

Norway rats burrow at grade, so we focus on foundation perimeters, deck footings, and crawl space vents.
Roof rats travel via power lines and tree branches into attics — we seal roofline gaps, vents, and eaves specifically.

We install hardware cloth, door sweeps, and vent screens to physically block re-entry after the population is cleared.
We service multi-unit properties on a recurring schedule with logged station checks for management records.

We dispatch Cedarville, OH technicians throughout Cedarville and neighboring areas, with particular attention to older homes and properties near wooded lots where rodent pressure tends to run higher. Gnaw marks, dropping size, and even the sound of movement in walls all help distinguish rats from mice — the technician will confirm on inspection.
Exclusion is the permanent fix — trapping without sealing just clears the current population while leaving the door open for the next one.
We'd recommend waiting — disturbed rodent droppings can aerosolize particles, and our technicians use proper PPE and sanitizing agents for safe cleanup.
Most single-family homes take one visit for trapping and sealing, with a follow-up 1-2 weeks later to confirm no new activity.
